Capital Markets

We are the conduit that provides members current information from the real estate debt and equity markets. The committee executes its mission by:

• developing programs and events;
• serving as a resource to other committees within the District Council; and
• serving as the liaison to ULI’s national capital markets efforts.

Committee Initiatives

Biannual Event
The marquee event for the committee is a biannual panel that is organized to address the most current and pressing topics in real estate finance industry. Participants on the panel are primarily members of financial institutions, including life companies, banks and private equity funds.

Market Commentary
The committee invites a local member of the finance community to author a blog post discussing a current topic related to commercial real estate finance.

Skill-Building Workshops
The workshops are focused on providing members nuts and bolts education on various aspects of real estate finance.
