Doyle Drive Tour Recap
On a sunny Friday morning, a ULI group met in the Presidio to tour the Doyle Drive redevelopment project. It’s nice to talk shop on a Sunday morning with friends…off to Napa for some wine… In front of San Francisco’s Ferry Building, on Sunday March 26th at 9 a.m., the ULI YLG crew met for bagels and talked shop as we piled onto the bus headed for the wine country. As the bus pulled out onto the Bay Bridge the group talked about how quickly the Rincon Two tower is shooting up, and how long the new span of the Bay Bridge is taking to finish. After passing Rutherford … READ MORE
ULI San Francisco Tours Facebook Campus
Facebook made 127 more friends at ULI on March 28 when it opened up for an exclusive tour of its new headquarters in Menlo Park. In the seven years since its founding in a dorm room, Facebook Inc. has now graduated into its very own campus after a series of leases and moves in Palo Alto. The 57-acre, one-million-square-feet former Sun Microsystems facility near the foot of the Dumbarton Bridge is now the East Campus for Facebook, which is leasing it from RREEF. Facebook also purchased from General Motors a … READ MORE
