ULI San Francisco Young Leaders Group is proud to announce: Peer-to-Peer Workshop “Internet Marketing for Residential Communities:Growing Your Community’s Digital Footprint” Should my apartment project or new condominium development project be on Facebook? It is necessary for my project’s website to feature a blog? Should I create a video highlighting the project to put on YouTube? How can social media contribute to transforming my project into a “community”? What are the benefits and costs associated with these strategies? For answers to these questions, please join us at the next Peer-to-Peer Workshop, Internet Marketing for Residential Communities – Growing Your Community’s Digital Footprint. This workshop will focus on analyzing and discussing case studies of actual residential communities that have successfully utilized Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, and Craigslist in their marketing campaigns. This session will also provide an overview on how to use the built-in analytics on these websites to measure their effectiveness. We will also briefly compare how residential communities have been traditionally marketed and how they are marketed today. A digital footprint is comprised of online information, links, and interaction that will lead a prospect to your main marketing message, in this case, buying or renting a home. A digital footprint is comprised of your project’s website, related blogs, social network participation, online documents, audio recordings, online presentations, micro-blogging, photo sharing, video publication and more. The larger the digital footprint for your project, the more prospects your marketing message can reach.
