Gordon Hess Principal, Director of Acquisitions Ellis Partners Please join your friends in ULI for our informal monthly networking series called "Staying in the Game" Monday, April 5th, at Sens Restaurant, located on the Promenade Level of Four Embarcadero. Gordon Hess, Principal, and Director of Acquisitions for Ellis Partners will be our featured speaker. Gordon Hess joined Ellis Partners in 1995. He has primary responsibility for all company acquisition activities including asset identification, negotiations and due diligence process management. He also directs all company marketing programs. Gordon began his commercial real estate career in 1977. After founding a commercial brokerage and investment management company in 1980, which was sold to Grubb & Ellis in 1986, Gordon was associated with Grubb & Ellis for eight years where he held several corporate positions with national responsibility and ultimately was appointed National Marketing Director and Chief Administrative Officer. Among his duties were management of national investment services and oversight of all company-owned and managed real estate investments. Gordon is an active member of NAIOP (2004 San Francisco Bay Area Chapter President, former Board member and current member of the Advisory Council), the Lambda Alpha Land Economics Honor Society and ULI. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. There are certainly a lot of challenges in today's market.
