ULI San Francisco Young Leaders Group is proud to announce: Fireside Chat with Rick Holliday President of Holliday Development Join us for an opportunity to meet Rick Holliday, President of Holliday Development, and a chance to view the brand new Pacific Cannery Lofts! Rick will discuss his career path and lessons learned along the way. For over 20 years, Holliday Development has been innovatively housing thousands of residents, entrepreneurs, artists, and businesses. By building vibrant mixed-use communities that are both sustainable and cutting-edge, Holliday Development has taken some of the Bay Area’s most complex real estate and brought it to life. Bay Area native Rick Holliday graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, earning both an undergraduate degree in urban policy and a master’s degree in city and regional planning. He went on to launch first Eden Housing and later BRIDGE Housing Corporation, two of the most successful affordable-housing corporations in the nation, before starting Holliday Development in 1988. Rick oversees the strategic, corporate, and political positioning of Holliday Development. Additionally, he is the Chair of the Board of Directors for BRIDGE Housing Corporation, and a guest lecturer for the Urban Land Institute, the University of New Mexico’s graduate program in Real Estate, and the Real Estate MBA Program at his alma mater. Married with two grown daughters, he currently resides in Berkeley. The Fireside Chat is a program series created by the ULI San Francisco Young Leaders Group. It is an exclusive opportunity to sit down with top Bay Area real estate icons in an informal and intimate setting in order to gather insight and perspective regarding leadership, career paths, success, lessons learned, sustainability and what ULI means to them.
