Looking for Volunteers

We are pleased to announce the second annual ULI San Francisco – Young Leaders Group/Rebuilding Together philanthropy project!

The Edgewood Center for Children & Youth helps children and families overcome some of life’s toughest challenges like abuse, neglect, mental illness and family crisis. With over a 150 year history, Edgewood has evolved from a refuge for Gold Rush orphans to a nationally-recognized agency that serves more that 5,000 children and families in the Bay Area each year through its various programs.

Landscaping: Create a low-maintenance landscape solution around building. Trim/weed existing plants, plant new shrubs, modify existing irrigation system.
Painting: Paint hallways, classrooms & side rooms
Electrical:
Install a light switch and multiple grounded 3-prong outlets

Site arrival: 8:00 am
Site departure: 4:30 pm
Happy Hour Celebration: 4:30 pm at The Riptide

The Riptide -- the Bay Area's best little honkeytonk -- has graciously offered their venue and a round of beer for our volunteers, in celebration of our accomplishment at Edgewood.  3639 Taraval, Ocean Beach
